On the day of travel, dogs and their owners arrive at the airport 45 minutes before boarding. The process begins with a simple and efficient check-in and security screening. There are no crates, pet carriers, or stressful lines involved. Following check-in, a highly trained BARK Air concierge welcomes the dogs and helps them settle in. The concierge facilitates socialization at the gate and prepares for the dog-centric cabin experience. Every effort is made to ensure each canine passenger is comfortable. Flying in-cabin with a dog includes calming aids such as pheromones, music, and warm lavender-scented towels to help dogs feel at ease during the semi-private flight.
